i saw those commercials for bare minerals… im really skeptical… so if ne1 has tried it let me know if u liked it… cuz i hate using liquid make up and i have acne scars and stuff and was wondering if it covers as good as they say

I use Bare Minerals and I love it! I was skeptical too so I went to Sephora (which sells the line) and tried it out. It goes on so flawlessly, and if you get the bisque, it works just as well as concealer. Also, it is so natural that when you’re wearing it it looks like you have no makeup on at all–and feels that way too. I won’t go back to liquid makeup ever. The only thing is that it is expensive. One jar of the bare minerals foundation is $25, and the mineral veil is $18. The bisque is probably the same as the veil, but I didn’t buy it. The brushes (which are designed to work with the makeup) are also expensive; the kabuki brush is about $20, and so are the concealer and flawless app brushes. If you buy the starter kit (which comes with bare vitamins, foundation, mineral veil, and warmer-a type of bronzer- and all three previously described brushes) it is $60–a good value. The sizes are smaller, but I bought mine around Thanksgiving and have used it every day and still haven’t finished it.
