Bare Minerals Guide

okaay guys, im goin to ulta tomorrow! and i really plan on getting the starter kit..but im being kind of spectical about it cause people told me it looks shiny and stuf, i do have a little bit of pimples and a little bit of acne scars..so do you like bare minerals? can i have your opinions please? thankss..and one more thing..my body is tan but my face never seems to get AS tan, so should i go with the light starter kit or the medium tan? thanks

Has anyone used this and is really as good as it says. I currently use Lancome but I’d like to try the Bare Minerals if it’s worth the money.
I’m 37 so I need pretty good coverage that won’t settle into my lines.

I absolutely love it. It definitely takes a little time to learn to apply it right, but my skin has never looked better. If you want fuller coverage, try using their kabuki brush or the synthetic full-coverage brush. They apply a little more and you’ll get the coverage you want.

I just recently ordered Bare Minerals foundation, I didn’t order the whole kit, just the foundation. I was wondering if anyone has tried it and what they thought of it. Also, does it cover well?? I have acne and nothing I use looks natural. All the testimonials I have seen, the people have perfect skin to begin with. So someone with acne, does it cover??

I absolutely love Bare Minerals! I have been using it for several years now and will never go back to liquid foundation. (I have combination skin) I also love their eye shadows and eye liners. I am definitely a convert!

I’ve had a semi-alright experience with bare minerals. It is, as they promise, really light, forgiving, and easy to apply. It doesn’t always cover like they say it will though. If you have a little zit, you’ll be tempted to keep covering it with powder until the redness is reduced, but that could take forever and will leave your skin looking really cakey.

Bare Minerals ?
I have had alot of people tell me to try bare minerals or mineral make-up. Do they really work? Are there any companies that allow you to buy a sample before you purchase the fullsize product? Im very interested in this product but I would like to have feed back from consumers that use mineral products and which mineral products they prefer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I need new make-up and am considering Bare Minerals but I need to know if the concealer gives good coverage and if all the other products are long lasting, lightweight, and won’t clog pores before I spend the cash on it.

With the arrival of Sephora, I thought I’d send out some love to one of my can’t-live-without beauty products: Bare Minerals. I started using the mineral makeup just about six months ago, and since then I have literally gotten no less than 20 compliments about my new, flawless-looking skin. I’ve never had really radiant skin before. It’s mostly been dull, but relatively free of blemishes. On a whim, I decided to try Bare Minerals (after hearing some good feedback from my favorite beauty site, Jolie in NYC).

Many reasons I love Bare Escentuals! Wednesday in Chemistry lab it was 90 degrees farenheit. It was only like 75 outside so the heat was an uncomfortable shock making everyone sweat. One lady who doesn’t usually wear makeup was looking quite well during lecture but during that lab I watched here whole face become so shiny. Yeah, it was hot, but no sweat beads for me. My natural enhancers stayed put and my beauty glowed. I have tried other things but this is the only make up that is a pleasure and not an agonizing pain in the name of beauty and perfection. Last Christmas I gave Bare Escentuals to my female friends and it was their favorite gift. Of course, I had to stop my friend Ania from using mine everytime she visited me some how; she would always walk into the bathroom and ask to use my makeup. This Christmas I would love to honor some more of my most inspirational sisters in spirit the same way. One strong woman in particular has been so helpful this year. I don’t know what brand she usually uses, she model’s and writes music and I would love to suprise her with raw minerals almost as beautiful as she is.
