All right, guys and gals. It’s time I do a review I’ve been thinking about for quite awhile. I’m gonna tell you what I think about bareMinerals.

Drumroll, please….

I give this one a big thumbs down for me, but will allow that others may like the product. I’ll explain, after the jump.

I used this product awhile back, and remember liking aspects of it, but hating others. Since I wasn’t clear on the details anymore, I thought I’d go pick some up and give it another shot- just to be fair.

So off I go to Sephora, and I pick up the bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation in Fair ($25 USD) and the Mineral Veil in Feather Light ($19 USD). I already have the concealer brush and kabuki brush from the last time I used the line.

I go home, I swirl, I tap, I buff. I am pleased with the appearance, for the most part. Some of the melasma I have on my cheeks (thank you, Ara) is still visible, but I’m willing to work with it. I remember one thing I hate about bareMinerals: the mess. I’m way too much of a bull in a china shop for loose powders, even with the sifter! But it’s on, and I have cleaned up the mess.
